The Arena sits on the edge of the Telford Town Park, the park is 150 hectares of striking green space, immersed with historical significance, satiated with rich ecological habitats and providing pockets of high quality play and open space.

The Arenas principle use is a free public open space with numerous access points from the footpaths and entrances into the local communities and housing that border the park, as well as being on the main bus routes into Telfords main shopping centre. There are a number of free community events held annually, as well as charity events.
